Design
So talking about design ,the adventure 250 look alike the adventure 390 but with some graphics update ,well you get a halogen light setup at front unlike the adventure 390.
Engine and transmission
So talking about engine it's is same as the Duke 250 with some changes to it's gear ratio, so it is the same 248.76cc single cylinder liquid cooled bs6 engine producing 29.5 bhp of power at 9000 rpm and 24 nm of torque at 7500 rpm , which mated with 6 speed gear box with slipper clutch for effortless shifting.
Breaking
So talking about breaking , so it comes with dual channel abs as standard with off-road abs which can be switched by toggling the instrument cluster.So it comes with 320mm front and 230mm rear disc breaks.one thing it misses out is adjustable break and clutch lever, which are present in adventure 390.
Seating
So we get split seat setup which is not too soft or too hard perfect for touring.These are large in size and have enough space for rider to move around and for pillion, and the seat height is 855mm which is high for average Indian rider.
Wheels
So talking about wheel , we get larger 19 inch wheel at front and 17 inch wheel at rear , we get 100/90 Tyre at front and 130/90 Tyre at rear, we get MRF tubeless Tyre both side.
Suspension
So talking about suspension we get wp Apex 43mm upside down suspension at front and a wp 10 step adjustable mono suspension at rear.
Dimensions,weight and chassis
So talking about dimensions it is same as the adventure 390, which is 2154mm in length 900mm in width 1263mm in overall height 1430 of wheelbase and 200mm of ground clearance which for me is adequate for offroading .And the weight of the motorcycle is 177kg. We get powder coated split strellis frame same as adventure 390.
Instrument cluster
So talking about instrument cluster it is different from typical ktm motorcycle well it is a black and white lcd display not the coloured unit on adventure 390 , well we don't get Bluetooth connectivity in this unit as we get in adventure 390 which is a miss.But it shows lots of information.And we get a 12v charging shocker.
Fuel range and mileage
So the tank capacity is 14.5 litres giving a range of 507km to 580km with a fuel efficiency of 35kmpl to 40 kmpl. Which is great for a 250cc motorcycle.
Colour option
So it will come with two colour electronic orange and black .
Pricing and competition
So talking about price ,it will cost you 2.5lakh ex-showroom and on road will go upto 2.8lakh.s
So it will compete with the Royal enfield Himalayan and the BMW gs 310 r.
